'DataVeil Istanbul': We were happy to receive a research grant to develop a next series of Tele_Trust DataVeils,
dedicated to the context and inhabitants of Istanbul. We research these new DataVeils design parameters in series of meetings in Istanbul;
and show the prototype at ISEA 2011, parallel with the already existing DataVeils performance installation.

Wat betekenen het ontstaan van iPad, augmented reality en smartphones voor kunstenaars en musea? Verandert de baanbrekende technologie voor mobiele applicaties de productie van kunst en de manier waarop we moderne en hedendaagse kunst beleven? Met lezingen van (inter)nationale experts als Kamagurka, Maarten Lens-Fitzgerald, Loic Tallon en Sander Veenhof, en projectpresentaties door kunstenaars uit het veld, onder wie Lancel en Maat, Spacial Sound Sculpture, Willem de Ridder en V2. Donderdag 31 maart 21.00 uur.
Masterclass project sandberg@mediafonds 2011:
De masterclass is een initiatief van het Sandberg Instituut en het Mediafonds en heeft de vorm van een laboratorium waarin teams van een programmamaker en een ontwerper of media kunstenaars gedurende enkele maanden werken aan concepten voor nieuwe of experimentele mediavormen. In de elfde editie staat het thema 'nieuwe media in de publieke ruimte' centraal. De masterclass start op 11 februari 2011 met een introductiebijeenkomst en eindigt met een publieke presentatie op 26 mei. Daartussen zijn er gastcolleges en workshops en wordt door de teams gewerkt aan hun concept. Op 17 februari is de publieke conferentie, dit jaar in de Stadsschouwburg.
